As an independent 501(c) (3) organization, Episcopal Relief & Development works toward achieving the Millennium Development Goals.
Together with the Anglican Communion and ecumenical partners, Episcopal Relief & Development strengthens communities today to meet tomorrow’s challenges. We rebuild after disasters and empower people by offering lasting solutions that fight poverty, hunger and disease, including HIV/AIDS and malaria.
Since the launch of NetsforLife® in 2006, Episcopal Relief & Development has actively advocated and promoted the program within U.S. Episcopal Church. In 2009 NetsforLife®, through Anglican Communion implementing partners, operates in 15 countries and Christian Aid implements the NetsforLife® program in two countries.
Episcopal Relief & Development’s contributions include financial underwriting, staffing, technical support, network and capacity building within the Anglican Communion in the countries in which NetsforLife® is implemented.
There are an estimated 216 million cases of malaria each year, resulting in nearly 660,000 deaths. The majority of these deaths are children younger than five years old. Join us in the fight against malaria in Africa. Give today.
NetsforLife® is a partnership of corporations, foundations, nongovernmental groups, and faith-based organizations working to fight malaria in Africa.
